A custom ARSTAR vanity top is a cultured marble top cast to dimensions you supply instead of a catalog size. The 20 standard models cover widths from 17" to 74" in 19" and 22" depth; when a cabinet, a hotel program or an existing opening falls outside that grid, the same bowls, gel coat, certifications and warranty are built to your measurements. Send dimensions, drawings or the project description, and engineering reviews the configuration and returns a quote.

    You approve the drawing — dimensions, bowl position, drilling, splash and color are fixed at this point.

    Tooling and production

    Existing tooling is used where the geometry allows; a new size or profile gets its own mold before casting begins.

What is the minimum order for a custom vanity top?

ARSTAR sells B2B by full truckload (FTL); there are no single-unit or consumer orders. Custom sizes are quoted at project volume, so send the quantity together with the dimensions — the volume determines whether the size runs on existing tooling or justifies a dedicated mold, and the quote states which.

How do I send drawings or plans?

Attach a PDF, a DWG or a photo of a dimensioned sketch to the contact form, or email them to customerservice2@arstarinc.com. The drawing should state overall width and depth, bowl centerline or offset, faucet drilling, and whether a backsplash or side splash is required. If you only have cabinet dimensions, send those and engineering will lay out the top.

What tolerance can I expect on a custom size?

Cultured marble is cast, so the applicable tolerance depends on the size and the geometry rather than on a single published figure. The tolerance for your configuration is stated on the drawing you approve before production begins — review it against the cabinet opening at that point, not after casting.

Does a custom size cost more than a standard one?

Custom configurations are quoted individually and ARSTAR does not publish prices. A custom size that runs on existing tooling is priced close to the equivalent standard size. A size or profile that requires a new mold carries a one-time tooling cost, which is amortized across the program — the quote separates the tooling from the unit price so you can see both.

Can I get a color that is not in the standard range?

The standard range is 13 colors — marble and quartz looks plus solid whites — and custom color matching is available against a physical sample or a written spec. Specialty colors follow the custom lead time of 4–8 weeks rather than the 2–4 weeks of stocked colors. Ask for samples before approving the color on a large program.

What is the lead time for a custom vanity top?

Custom configurations and specialty colors run 4–8 weeks; standard products and colors run 2–4 weeks. A configuration that needs a brand-new mold adds tooling time before the production window opens, and the quote states the full schedule, not just the casting time.

Can I order double bowls at a custom spacing?

Yes. Double bowl and offset configurations are part of the standard catalog, and the bowl centerlines can be set to the spacing your cabinet run requires rather than the catalog spacing. Give the distance from each finished edge to the bowl centerline so the layout is unambiguous.
